My Favourite spots to photograph on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, is a true paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Known for its golden white sand beaches, lush hinterland, and laid-back atmosphere, this coastal gem offers something for everyone.

One of the biggest draws of the Sunshine Coast is its stunning beaches. With over 100 kilometres of coastline, it’s home to some of the best beaches in the country, including Noosa Main Beach, Mooloolaba, and Coolum. These pristine shores are perfect for swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing in the sun, with warm, clear waters year-round. The region’s famous sunsets over the ocean are an experience not to be missed.

Beyond the coast, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland provides an entirely different kind of beauty. Rolling hills, national parks, and charming towns like Montville and Maleny offer breathtaking views and peaceful escapes. Hikers and nature enthusiasts will enjoy exploring the many walking trails, including those in the Glass House Mountains National Park, which provides panoramic vistas and encounters with native wildlife.

The Sunshine Coast is also home to a vibrant arts and culture scene, with local galleries, markets, and festivals throughout the year. The region’s rich biodiversity is reflected in attractions like the Australia Zoo, founded by the late Steve Irwin, where visitors can get up close to unique wildlife.

Whether you're looking to indulge in fine dining, experience outdoor adventures, or simply unwind in a welcoming environment, the Sunshine Coast offers it all. Its relaxed, friendly vibe makes it the perfect destination for families, couples, and solo travellers alike, making it easy to see why so many people fall in love with this coastal paradise.

My favourite spots to photograph are Kondalilla Falls in the hinterland, take the time to walk to the very bottom of the falls for a wonderful afternoon out or spend the morning with a walk through the Noosa National Park making sure to take in Tea Tree Bay.

Most of all get out there and enjoy!!!!
