Trevi Fountain

Trevi Fountain

"Trevi Fountain"

Rome, Lazio, Italy

The Trevi Fountain is Rome's largest and most famous Baroque fountain. Designed by Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762, it shows the sea god Oceanus riding a shell chariot pulled by sea horses, set against the back of Palazzo Poli.

Tradition says that if you toss a coin over your left shoulder into the water, you'll one day return to Rome. Thousands of visitors do it every day.

A grand, detailed print that captures the theatre and romance of Rome.
